In progress. Hoods, various materials.
Series of revisited hoods for men. All identical in their structure, the garments materials, all in black or white, vary from familiar and comforting textiles to surprising and unusual textures and fibers. Impressions and sensations will then be observed when a participant will experience each garment.

Série de hoodies redessinés pour homme. Tous identiques de par leur structure, les matières de chaque pièce, toutes blanches ou noires, varient de textiles familiers et réconfortants à des textures inhabituelles et surprenantes. Les impressions et les sensations seront observées lorsqu’un participant portera toute la série.

HYPERWEARABLE

May 2009. Series of five garments, a book and a video.
This project explores the thematic of hyperreality as described by Umberto Eco:
«The authentic fake.»
«We are giving you the reproduction so you will no longer feel any need for the original.»
Using the universe of sciences, it is a demonstration of the relation between reality and objectivity. With the collaboration of six collaborators from different professions, the original garment (a lab coat) is submitted to their personal interpretations, and reinterpreted by the designer. This can be related to the game of the broken telephone, where information is added or lost in the process of transmitting an objective data.
